Our privacy policy is based on the principle that your data is your property - not ours. You have trusted us to hold it and we will protect it to the best of our ability, but we will not use, sell or give it to anyone else without your express permission.
In particular:
- We collect the minimum amount of personal information needed to operate our service. We do not cross-reference or triangulate personal information with any other source of data, and we do not use or disclose personal information for any other purpose.
- All personal information is collected directly, entered and accessed only by the school administrators and the therapist involved in an engagement.*
- Parents can request access to and corrections of their personal information from school administrators at any time.
- Personal information retention is determined by a school's legal obligations. Once a school administrator deletes an annual archive, all personal information is irretrievably deleted.
- SchoolTherapy provides best-practise encryption of data in transit and in storage.
- SchoolTherapy provides best-practise authorisation of registered users.

*School administrators and therapists are also bound by relevant privacy legislation, so parents are protected by their compliance as well as ours.

Server Location
We use Australian servers in NSW provided by Google Cloud Platform. Google employs the best system engineers in the world, and everything these engineers do to protect Google properties also protects SchoolTherapy. In-depth analysis here.
Our use of Google Cloud Platform does not give Google Search any access to SchoolTherapy data. We don't use Google authentication or tracking cookies, so there is no way Google can use SchoolTherapy data to identify or track you.
